The movie Coach Carter is based around a new coach coming to a highschool. This highschool is located in a dangerous area and not well fundeded at all. When the new coach arrives the entire program and culture shifts. There is a sense of discipline installed by making each player maintain a higher gpa and grueling conditioning before games. There would be push back from players but the majority bought into it. It made all of them better men by it and the school started winning games. The overall theme of the movie is that discipline and education will take you very far.
